Weaving Light

A circle of women, socially distanced at an outside fire, gather with a teacher to listen to stories and ask questions. 

We gather by firelight to awaken the sacred spark within us, to see anew, listen deeply, create a circle which brings us into a fresh relationship with the Light of Nature.  The teacher opens a space for her teachings to be heard with curiosity and openness. The give and take of questions and answers, has its space within the teaching.  We follow the oral story tradition, developing our own pace and rhythm. We remember.

Women embraced an ancient heritage for unnumbered centuries, in stone and moss, animal, plant, living water, and the ground beneath their feet. We are not separate from the sacred energies which form and animate Nature. This is the central tenant for all Weaving Light fires.
